Dr. Wendy Kaufer, D.O.
Dr. Wendy Kaufer is a board certified physician who has been practicing medicine for over 13 years. She completed her pediatrics residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2002, and an internal medicine internship in 1999 at St. Francis Medical Center. Dr. Kaufer received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She also completed one year of training in PCOM’s Biomedical Science program in 1994. Prior to that she attended Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993.
Dr. Kaufer was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, and currently lives in the North Hills, where she resides with her husband, Dr. David Ruble, DVM, the owner of Vet to Pet, and her twin girls. She is an active member in her community as well as the North Allegheny School District, an avid Steeler’s fan, and a proud Pittsburgher at heart!
Dr. Daniel Nugent, D.C., CCSP
Dr. Nugent graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University, Marietta GA in 2001 with a degree in Chiropractic. Prior to studying at Life University, he received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire. Dr. Nugent has been in private practice since 2004. Prior to that he worked in several different clinics where he learned most of the skills and procedures that he uses in practice today. Since he began practicing Chiropractic, Dr. Nugent has received specialized training in CBP, an advanced form of spinal correction, as well as being certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and attaining Level I and II certification in Kinesio Taping. Dr. Nugent has continued to keep up to date with the latest Chiropractic techniques ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced Chiropractic care. His knowledge and experience in multiple chiropractic adjusting techniques allow him to provide a firm manual adjustment or a soft, gentle instrument adjustment of the spine. His expertise extends to manipulation of the extremities along with physical rehabilitation of the spine and extremities such as the shoulder and knee joints.
